When you\nare using the Empress website, Nortek Global HVAC (UK) is the data controller.<\/p>

For\nsimplicity throughout this notice, \u2018we\u2019 and \u2018us\u2019 means Nortek Global HVAC.<\/p>

When you visit our premises which usually have CCTV systems\noperating for security. These systems may record your image during your visit.<\/p>

Accounts<\/strong><\/p>

If you have an account with us: your name, billing\/delivery\naddress, orders and receipts, email and telephone number. <\/p>

For example, we collect notes from our conversations with you,\ndetails of any complaints or comments you make, details of purchases you made,\nitems viewed or added to your basket, wish list choices, voucher redemptions, products\nyou show interest in, web pages you visit and how and when you contact us.<\/p>

Details of your visits to our websites, and which site you came\nfrom to ours. Information gathered by the use of cookies in your web browser. <\/p>

Customer\nExperience<\/strong><\/p>

To deliver the best possible web experience, we collect\ntechnical information about your internet connection and browser as well as the\ncountry and telephone code where your computer is located, the web pages viewed\nduring your visit, the advertisements\/promotions you clicked on, and any search\nterms you entered.<\/p>

To protect our customers, premises and assets from crime, we\noperate CCTV systems in our premises and car parks which record images for\nsecurity. We do this based on our legitimate business interests.<\/p>

To process payments and to prevent fraudulent transactions. We\ndo this based on our legitimate business interests. This also helps to protect\nour customers from fraud.<\/p>

If we\ndiscover any criminal activity or alleged criminal activity through our use of\nCCTV, fraud monitoring and suspicious transaction monitoring, we will process\nthis data for the purposes of preventing or detecting unlawful acts. We aim is\nto protect the individuals we interact with from criminal activities.<\/p>

To send you communications required by law or which are\nnecessary to inform you about our changes to the services we provide you. For\nexample, updates to this Privacy Notice, product recall notices, and legally\nrequired information relating to your orders, we do not require prior consent\nwhen sent by email or text message. If we do not use your personal data for\nthese purposes, we would be unable to comply with our legal obligations.<\/p>
